The Persian or Arabian Gulf is known for its largest single source of crude oil and natural gas in the world. The Arab states in the Gulf are together popularly called GCC i.e. Gulf Cooperation Council and includes Unites Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar. These countries have high per capita income and GDP dominated by oil and gas reserves but the governments are now trying to diversify their economies. But, the crunch of skilled and well trained manpower is a huge drawback for Gulf countries as they employ professionals from outside. So, the first step towards creating a strong human resources base is imparting skill specific education and training to the natives. This need has generated myriad of professional jobs in Gulf in its education industry like that of trainers, teachers, technical experts, tutors, etc.

Meanwhile, provisions are made to impart skill specific training and education to the natives so that their talent can be utilized when economy boom further creating more and more professional jobs in Gulf. These job openings will then see more applications from locals than from expatriates and to achieve this, efforts are made to expand its education industry.

It presents an eclectic mix of well qualified citizens of different countries, religions, cultures and beliefs who share a common platform to participate in nation building. Besides schools and colleges for general education, there are various institutes for vocational training that offer more avenues for employment in this field. Apparently, the education sector of the region is flourishing swiftly ultimately creating higher number of jobs in Gulf.
