As per media reports that the company to start its operation in this plant on May 23 this year. Currently JLR cars in India available through CBU.</p> <p>The company which has most popular luxury cars in India after launching facelifted Land Rover Freelander 2 this another good news by the JLR to its lovers and it is expected that now all the upcoming Jaguar Land Rover cars in India would be available in cheap price range. As per sources, JLR owner Tata Motors will also assemble around 2,000 units of Land Rover Range Rover per year at this plant.</p> <p>As per reliable sources that presently the company is producing components of all the JLR cars at its Merseyside factory in England. Now the Pune based JLR manufacturing plant will also produce components but after some time.</p> <p>For a long time Tata was interested to set up a JLR facility at Indian soil which has finally been launched Chikhli in Pune. And it is expected all the JLR cars would be produced in this facility. JLR includes super luxury cars in its Indian stable and launched the Land Rover Freelander 2 which rival competition with BMW X1 and the Toyota Fortuner which another most popular luxury cars in India.</p> <p>The superb looking luxury Land Rover Freelander 2 comes equipped with minor cosmetic changes to its front fascia, while another changes in the car are new grille, reworked bumper, altered fog lamps and air intakes. Currently this cars is priced at Rs 45 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi).</p> <p>On the other hand, Indian auto market is reporting down fall in car sales and car makers are launching fuel efficient and better performer new car models in domestic market.
