There are a few times in any year when it's considered more or less okay for anyone to dress up as outrageously as they like. Christmas, New Year and birthdays are all pretty good excuses to get out our glitziest most striking clothes. There's one time of the year, however, when it's almost de rigueur to forget just dressing up smartly and instead pull on a fancy dress costume, the more outrageous the better, and that's Halloween.

Christmas, New Year and birthdays are all pretty good excuses to get out our glitziest most striking clothes. There's one time of the year, however, when it's almost de rigueur to forget just dressing up smartly and instead pull on a fancy dress costume, the more outrageous the better, and that's Halloween.
A couple of decades ago Halloween was seen as just a bit of fun for the kids, with trick or treating, bobbing for apples and a hollowed out pumpkin. Then the grownups decided to get in on the act, and every Halloween now sees parties everywhere especially for adults wanting to get in touch with their devilish, wicked side. The only problem with this is that nobody, and in particular no woman, really feels she looks her best when she's dressed up as a zombie or Frankenstein's monster, and that's where sexy Halloween costumes come in.
Sexy Halloween costumes allow you to join in with the spirit of things whilst still looking your stunning best. Combining the iconic, archetypal images of the night with fabrics, colours and cuts which are especially designed to look alluring, flattering and more than a little bit naughty, sexy Halloween costumes let you join in the playful spirit of Halloween without looking anything less than your dazzling best.
There's a wide range to choose from. Perhaps you'll choose to be a sexy witch, complete with a frilly tutu skirt, matching stockings, a flattering black top and, of course, wickedly sharp stiletto high heels. The pointed hat and broomstick are optional but, given the rest of the costume, there's not much chance anybody will notice whether they're there or not. If not witch, you might opt for a vampire, fallen angel, naughty devil or wicked cat woman outfit. Of course, you don't have to go the whole way - perhaps a little dark and gothic style make up allied to just the Halloween accessories. Little touches like angel wings, cats ears or devil horns can make all the difference and make sexy Halloween costumes quick and easy as well as devastatingly effective.
So in future, when you're asked what the best part of Halloween is, just remember; it's not the jack o'lanterns, not the tricks, nor the treats. It's the chance to indulge your inner minx and wear the sexiest costume you can think of.
