Polycystic Kidney Disease is the most common inherited disease in the world. Children of parents who have PKD have a 50% chance of getting the disease. Sacs of fluid (called cysts) grow in the kidneys. If too many cysts grow or if they get too big, the kidneys become damaged. The cysts may also cause pain or may get infected.
Generally patients will have hypertension in their 30s, Renal Insufficiency (high creatinine) in their 40s and Renal Failure in 50s. There are also some exceptions and some people can live healthily until 80 year's old.
Patients are often told that there is no treatment available for the cysts and when PKD develops to Renal Failure, dialysis (blood filtering) and kidney transplants are the only treatments for them. It is sure that no one like to be on dialysis or receive kidney transplants, because they are too risky and patients may lose their lives during the treatment or operation.
Is there any other treatment available for Polycystic Kidney Disease?
Chinese medicine has many treatment methods for kidney cysts. The main principle is removing stasis and eliminating stagnation. Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy is based on this theory. The core technology of it is the micronization of effective herb medicine in treating kidney disease with the purpose of giving fully release of the effective composition and mix them. Then the effective medicine will be permeated into the renal lesions by external application with the action of effective penetrating agent and osmosis equipment. The medicine can arrive the renal lesions directly and achieve the purpose of treating the kidney disease effectively.
How does Micro-Chinese Medicine Work?
a. Ultrasonic wave promote the material movement in the cells and tissues and can produce a kind of imperceptible massage. It can increase the permeability of the cells and promote the metabolism of the cells.
b. Ultrasonic wave can dissolve the deposition of the waste in micro blood vessels and increase the permeability of the vessels walls and the speed of blood flow.
c. It can remove the remaining hyperplasia tissues, waste and small stones in the tubules, the walls of calyces renales minors and pelvis.
d. Cavitation reaction and convective transportation can produce thermal response and mechanical action that can permeate micro-Chinese medicine into the body and make it play the role of anti renal fibrosis such as anti inflammation, invigorating blood circulation, blocking renal fibrosis and rebuilding renal function.
For different patients, the medicine use are also different. There are many complications of Polycystic Kidney Disease. According to our clinical statistics 66% of the patients with PKD have hypertension, 53% have liver cysts and 56% have kidney stones. Therefore, for patients with different complications, different medicine will be added. As long as the complications can be well treated and the cysts gradually shrink with the improving of microcirculation, the kidney function will sure become better and patients keep dialysis away.
We suggest patients with family history of PKD pay attention to the early symptoms of PKD such as back pain and hematuria and prevent the appearance of complications. Hope all the patients with PKD can avoid Renal Failure and live healthy life. Any help, please email to kidneytreat@hotmail.com .
