The Internet marketing is the study of techniques use the Internet to advertise and sell products and services.
Includes advertising by click , ads on web pages , the mass mailings, marketing in search engines (including search engine optimization), the use of social networking and marketing of logs or blogs.

The marketing on the Internet is a component of electronic commerce . You can include content management, public relations, customer service and sales. Electronic commerce and Internet marketing have become more popular to the extent that providers of Internet are becoming more accessible. More than a third of consumers who have Internet access in their homes report using the Internet for their purchases.
It is one of the four paradigms of marketing, according to Phillip Kotler , a company must choose as a basis for implementing a strategy.

Results of applying information technology to traditional marketing

The Internet marketing is associated with various business models. The main model includes Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer model (B2C). The B2B (for its acronym in English Business to Business) consists of companies doing business with each other, whereas B2C involves selling directly to consumers. When originated B2C Internet marketing was the first to appear. B2B transactions were more complex and came later. A third, less common business model is user to user (P2P), where individuals exchange goods between them. An example of P2P is Bittorrent , which is built on a platform of users sharing files or files.

The term marketing is an anglicized that has several definitions . According to Philip Kotler (considered by some the father of marketing one ) is "the process of social and administrative by which groups and individuals meet their needs by creating and exchanging goods and services. " 2 It has also been defined as the art or science of meet the needs of customers and gain profits at the same time. It is actually a subciencia or area of study of the science of administration .

Marketing is also the set of activities to achieve a profit consumer satisfaction with a product or service.

In Spanish , marketing is usually translated as marketing , marketing or farmacia . 3 4 On the other hand, the word marketing is recognized by the DRAE , 5 although it supports the use of anglicized SAR, preferably recommended to use the Spanish word marketing . 6 The graphic adaptation of marketing proposed by the SAR is márquetin . 7
The marketing involves marketing strategies, sales, market research, market positioning, and so on. This term is often confused with that of advertising , the latter being just a marketing tool.

Marketing's main objective is to promote the exchange between two parties that both are beneficial. According to Philip Kotler, sharing means "the act of obtaining a desired product from someone else." To produce, it is necessary to take five conditions:
There must be at least two parties.

Each party must have something that is value for the other.
Each party must be able to communicate and deliver.
Each party must be free to accept or reject the offer.
Each party must believe it is appropriate.

If for any reason, any party involved in the exchange is not satisfied, will prevent a repeat again this exchange.
