You can present these topics to kids in different degrees of complexity depending upon the age of the group.
Geography
The topic of Indian geography involves, at a basic level, the study of where in the world India is, who its neighbors are, and looking at a few simple facts about India, such as its primary industries and weather. Kids will enjoy finding out which sports both they and Indian children play, such as soccer, while equally intriguing are sports that will be unfamiliar. Gandhi
The political leader and statesman Mahatma Gandhi is one of India's most renowned historical figures, and though younger kids might not be able to understand all of the issues and ways of thinking that Gandhi represented, there is plenty for older children to take away from a brief look at Gandhi's life and achievements. Introduce kids to some of Gandhi's principles, and how he helped to shape Indian history; for example, Gandhi was involved in the discussions which eventually led to India being awarded its independence in 1947. Teach them that Gandhi's methods of creating social change inspired the civil rights movement in the United States in the 1950s and '60s.
