Sao Paulo is the largest city in South America with more than 20 million people spread over 7,800 kms. The city is truly cosmopolitan with high end restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, and a vibrant night life. It’s easy and affordable to plan a vacation as there are many Hotéis em São Paulo that offer comfortable accommodation. For those planning to visit Sao Paulo, here are a few places worth visiting:
• As earlier mentioned, Sao Paulo is the cultural hub of Brazil with its many experimental theatres and art museums. Notable among these is the Sao Paulo Museum of Art. This Museum is located near the Tirandentes subway stop and a major tourist attraction. It houses religious relics and icons dating from the 17th century. The resident nuns at the Museum pass paper pills to reenact a centuries old story where a man’s kidney stone is said to have cured after he ate a piece of paper with a prayer written on it.
• Ibirapuera Park: This is a famous park that is also known to host concerts and other programs during the weekend. In fact, Ibirapuera is known to attract more than 150 thousand visitors during the weekend. The park encompasses a vast stretch of more than 1.5 million square meters of greenery with lakes, sports courts, jogging, walking, and cycling paths.

• Avenida Paulista: This place is known for its commercial attractions, skyscrapers, restaurants, book stores, hotels, shops and museums including the Sao Paulo Museum of Art and Casa das Rosas. The place is well connected to other parts of the city and hence commuting shouldn’t be a problem.
• Liberdale: The 1.5 million people of Japanese descent have settled in Liberdale and have lent their distinct style to the place. Food too is sold as Japanese, but made predominantly by Brazilians of Chinese and Korean descent.
