However, get ready to purchase a 20 or 100 pound tank of propane gas, because it fuels the heater. Some people prefer to have a propane indoor heater in case of emergency, when electricity is down. You can store it in the shed and take it our whenever you need some extra heat. Propane gas heaters come in many shapes and sizes, so you can choose the one that matches your needs and house surface. However, you need to consider the security issues attached to buying a propane indoor heater: <ul> <li>Use them in a well ventilated area to prevent the accumulation of carbon monoxide.
