Management of waste or garbage is very important to acquire a healthy and clean environment. Earlier, people used to burn the foods and unused households materials in boxes or big drums. This was the common method of waste destruction.
Now a days, the quantity of scraps has risen tremendously in every country due to the increased population and industrial boom. In modern technology, the thermal destruction process is used for waste management and this practice is known as “Incineration”.
This is an engineered process to degrade waste materials using controlled air, high temperatures and exceptional mixing. This technique is not limited to the disposal of solid or liquid waste but it is well accepted by the industries for their industrial and bio-medical waste.
Incinerators are used as a waste management instrument and the core job of this is to use the flame combustion for converting organic material into carbon-di-oxide and water vapor. Good incinerators decrease the quantity of waste as well as convert it to useful “waste-to-energy” system to generate the byproducts such as electricity, steam and heat.
There are various types of incinerators available such as mobile, biomedical, garbage and industrial waste incinerators, etc. All of them are expert in particular field. Let’s go through the brief introduction of some of them to understand their important role in our life: Garbage incinerators: It is used to burn the trash in best possible manner and filter the ash which is not harmful to the nature, human being and animals. This technique is also known as liquid & solid incinerators.
Industrial waste incinerator: Industries produce maximum garbage in the form of gases, oil refineries and other waste resources. The destruction of Industrial waste is most important as they contain dangerous and toxic elements which can defectively impact the atmosphere and people. Latest instruments are used to develop the best biofuels and biochemical products such as ethanol, fuels etc.
Mobile incinerators: This type of incinerator is best option for the clinical waste. They are hygienic, systematic and easy to use. The critical garbage is burnt in a sterile incineration manner and the left amount can be used for landfills. This is very useful to control the spreading disease and carrion of animals etc.
Biomedical waste incinerators: The excess quantity of harmful waste comes from medical colleges, research centers, hospitals and clinics. It includes aprons, urine bags, injections, syringe, bandages, needle, little blades surgical instruments and used surgical gloves etc.
It is necessary to destroy such injurious objects as it can spread infections and many other diseases. Pathogens and toxic elements can easily be smashed at a high temperature and save the environment globally.
In addition, there are other methods offered by different companies to reduce/recycle the garbage. The selection of best resource depends upon the type of waste destruction, your needs and budget. There is no assurance that incineration will destroy the waste completely but it will definitely diminish the problem. Evidence says that 90% of the waste can be damaged through modern incinerators.
