5. Pattern-Hardwood flooring can be strip, plank or parquet. While strip and plank are most common, parquet is ideal for customizing the look of your floors through patterns and design.
6. Color-Make sure to ask for floor samples of both before and after installation, as it is not uncommon for boards to be cut from several trees; variation in color should be expected.
