The enigmatic character of Huck Seed, stand tall in the poker table. This four-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner again overcame the toughest fields of poker competition, collected a whopping $500,000 first-prize freeroll in the 2010 Tournament Champions (TOC). Playing on the Full Tilt poker roster,Seed won his victory in the tournament. Another record to his overwhelming list of best known winnings.
In the TOC runner up was Howard "the Professor" Lederer. He's a two-time WSOP gold bracelet winner. He opposed against the third-place finisher Jonny Chan. Not bad, Lederrer collected a nice consolation prize amounting to $250,000.
The players who cashed included: Johnny Chan (3rd for $100,000), Joe Hachem (4th for $25,000), Barry Greenstein (5th for $25,000), Daniel Negreanu (6th for $25,000), Jennifer Harman (7th for $25,000), Annie Duke (8th for $25,000), and T.J. Cloutier (9th for $25,000).
Seed's Poker Experience
Huckleberry Seed was born on January 15, 1969 in Santa Clara, California. He is an American professional poker player best known for winning the main event of the 1996 World Series of Poker, taking home his second bracelet and the $1,000,000 first prize.
At 2009, he also won 2009 NBC Heads-up Poker Championship. He took the top prize of $500,000 and improved his overall record in the event to 18-4, an all-time best for win total.
As of 2010, his total live tournament winnings exceed $5,825,000. Seed has four WSOP bracelets and 39 total cashes at the WSOP, accounting for $2,831,985 of his live tournament winnings.
