HP is launching the new touch pad tablet mobile in India soon. The rumors are such that the new device is Hp’s answer to the iPad and many other tablet devices launched by LG, Samsung etc. The touch pad is expected to be available in market by March. The price is yet unrevealed.The HP TouchPad Price in India is said to have many better features than the popular Apple iPad. It has a 9.7 inches touch screen with Gorilla Glass display. The screen resolution is 1024x768 pixel. IT weighs about 1.6 pounds. The size and weight is almost the same as iPad. The touch pad will run on a Palm Web OS. It integrates different parts of the operating system very smoothly. The touch pad is equipped with a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm APQ8060 processor which would be better than the iPad’s 1 GHz processor. This chip belongs to HP’s Snapdragon line ultra-low-power processors for mobile devices and has an integrated Adreno 220 graphics engine. There is a 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera which can be used for video chats also. The battery life of HP touch Pad is about eight hours. The additional features include Global positioning system, stereo speakers, accelerometer etc. The user interface of touch pad is an excellent one which makes multi tasking easier in the tablet mobile. The touch Pad will feature apps and high quality Snap dragon graphics and multimedia capabilities are incorporated in it. The high quality graphics offered by the processor can be seen when you play games with extensive 3D graphics like Armageddon Squadron II by polar bit. The qualcomm processor helps in 3D video capturing and play back. Web browsing is made possible by Adobe flash 10. The facility to playback 1080p 30fps HD video is also present. The memory capacity will be 16 GB or 32 GB. The option of a wireless key board is also there. The touch pad now being released will only be the Wi- Fi version. But it will be soon followed by 3G and 4G versions of the device. HP touch pad is a venture of HP without the support of Microsoft windows which is considered as a blow for windows and a big step for HP They had together made a tablet called Slate 500 for business professional with Windows 7 OS. The Us release of HP touch Pad will be in September 2011. The expected cost is not yet revealed.
