Today’s most of men and women are suffering from overweight, under weight or obesity problems because of his or her bad habits or life style and most of peoples don’t know understand properly that he or she is fit or not.

How to Measure the Fitness:

Ideal Weight Chart – Ideal weight for height concept is the best ways to know that you are fit or not. Ideal weight is calculated on the basis of height, age, sex and body frame.

BMI (Body Mass Index) – BMI is another way to measure you fitness. It is the relationship between height and weight of individuals. It determines body fact and risk factors of individual’s health. BMI is calculated by following steps using simple formula-

Step-1: Divide weight by height in inches.

Step-2: Now divide the result of step1 by height

Step-3: Now multiply the result of step2 by 703 and get BMI

Example- Suppose your weight is 220 and height is 70 inches, then

220/70 = 3.14 (divided weight by height)

3.14/ 70 = 0.044 (weight/height)/ height

0.044 * 703 = 30.932

BMI would be 30.932

Analysis of BMI - If BMI of a any individuals is less then 18.5 then it reflect underweight, If it is between 18.5 to 22.9 then reflect normal weight, if it is between 23.0 to 24.9 then overweight and if it is above 25.0 then reflect obesity problem.

On the basis of BMI and a survey billions of peoples all over the world are suffering from either overweight, underweight or obesity problem. Therefore with BMI and weight analysis you can determine the ideal weight depending on age, sex and height and can take necessary action if needed.
