Once the details are collected, you can visit the printer manufacturer’s website and get correct information to download the compatible drivers for your printer. In addition to the manufacturer’s website, various other driver download websites are available which can provide compatible Windows 7 printer drivers. After installing the printer driver, you can configure the printer settings such as paper size, print quality, color, etc, according to your choice.
Though Windows 7 printer driver installation is simple, incorrect installation can lead to various issues. The common reason behind most of the installation failure is incompatible drivers. Your operating system should support the printer driver that you are going to install. Corrupted drivers also lead to errors while installing the printer.
