How to erase on OMR sheet

An OMR sheet is one that has lots of bubbles in the form of answer options. But that is not what distinguishes such a sheet from a normal paper. The OMR sheet has index points on its four corners due to which the OMR reader can record the marks made on the bubbles. If you are preparing for an exam that involves the use of an OMR sheet, you are likely to have several questions. One of the most important questions that you may have is how to erase on OMR sheet. Let us find out.
The answer to the question would depend on what type of tool is used to fill the bubbles; for instance, whether you are using a pencil or a pen. In case the examination centre asks you to use a pencil, you can use an eraser if you have made a mistake. However, use a soft eraser and make sure there are no smudges. This is because a highly sensitive OMR reader may be able to catch even the light marks.
On the other hand, if you are using a pen for marking the bubbles, there is no way you can erase the marks if you think you are wrong. Using an eraser to rub off pen marks will only spoil the sheet.
