How to Stop Water Pollution Before It Starts

It's your social responsibility to get involved in all undertakings provided by your local and national government to safeguard the proper use of water and to protect it from unscrupulous abuses. Before water is polluted from the start, strictly follow these tips.

Water is the life blood of all living organisms in this planet. Without water no living things will survive. That's how important this number one resource on the lives of human being and animals.
As the highest form of animal with intelligence, you're responsible for the welfare of your fellowmen by showing them how water can be safely useful and how it can be protected from being polluted which may be unsafe for human, animal, and plant consumption.
It's your social responsibility to get involved in all undertakings provided by your local and national government to safeguard the proper use of water and to protect it from unscrupulous abuses.
Before water is polluted from the start, strictly follow these tips.
1. Start from your home. Construct a covered concrete water tank to deposit all your waste water from your laundry and washing from your kitchen. Don't allow waste water to drain into your river, lakes and ocean. All used water must be deposited in your water tank treatment system. Don't combine your toilet tank deposits with your other treatment facilities.
2. Control water in your garden. When watering your lawn and garden plants, minimize over watering to avoid over flow of excess water that may drain away to the lakes and rivers and finally to the sea. 3. Use organic fertilizer and pesticides. Make sure to use organic fertilizer and pesticides in your plants and all your farming activities.
4. Proper disposal of chemicals. Avoid pouring paints, used oil and other toxic chemicals down into your sink since they damage your pipes and may contaminate your water supply. Follow the manufacturer's recommendation in the label about the proper disposal of these items. Get the advice from your waste disposal management bureau where you can bring hazardous chemicals for safe disposal.
5. Collect house pets manures regularly. If you have dogs and cats in your yard, regularly collect their excreta since their stool carry with it some harmful bacteria that may drain into your water source which is detrimental to humans health.
6. Use salt free system or potassium based water softener. If your water is hard and you need a softener, use these suggested water softener. Don't use high amount of sodium because this may be released into your water supply which can damage wildlife and other creatures.
These suggested tips are just but a part of some other water pollution protection strategies that you may apply. Although this may take your strong political will to implement them, your single involvement will spread like virus and others may be compelled to follow when they see your work gives them more benefits.
