Once there was a girl in a village whose name was Binny. She was well known among the villagers; not because of her good qualities, but because of her intolerable nature. This little girl was rude to everyone, including her parents, friends and family members. she was the daughter of the landlord of that village and thus used to get everything that she wanted to have. Her father and mother were also aware of her rude nature, but being the only daughter they didn’t bother to stop her. No one in the village in fact used to love her. One day the sweeper of her school was busy in mopping the floor of the corridor and didn’t notice her. By mistake the sweeper came into the way of Binny and out of anger the little girl shouted badly on the sweeper in front of many people.
It was really humiliating for the old person to be scolded in front of everyone. After few days, she missed her school bus in the evening. She was into the washroom and by that time the bus left the school. she came outside and started crying out of fear. When she was near the school gate when suddenly she heard some voice; it was the sweeper that Binny humiliated few days ago. The sweeper came to her and asked her why she was crying. After hearing everything from her, the sweeper took her to home. That day she realized her fault and started showing respect to everyone.
It is true that kids may demonstrate different behavior because of age. We should not expect same kind of treatment from a 3 year old child and a 16 year old teen. Moreover, the physical, biological and family conditions also play a vital role in shaping the behavior of the children. Parents and teachers are the key persons who can give a perfect direction to a child’s life. Some steps parents can follow to teach kids how to behave in private as well as public places. These are briefly discussed below:-
1. It is our encouragement or discouragement that influences the kids to continue or discontinue a particular behavior. When our kids are young, we often consider their misbehavior as something childish. This gives them the liberty to continue that in future life. so don’t encourage your child’s mischief even in a small age,
2. The best way to stop unwanted behavior is to ignore it. This way works best over a period of time,
3. Another way to encourage good conducts is to reward the kids. But this should be done with proper caution. Give the kid reward only when they do something extraordinary,
4. Be firm, calm and consistent. Your child is unlikely to learn self-control if you yell at him when the child misbehaves,
5. Consider underlying reasons why your child may be misbehaving. Many life changes and events in your child's life can cause behavior problems,
The physical condition of the child also leads to mischievousness of the child. if you find the child’s conduct uncontrollable, it is preferred to go to a child psychologist for the consultation.
