Kids are the most beautiful gifts of the almighty. A man or woman feels complete after becoming parent. Kids bring smile to the face of the family members and develop an infinite bond with the grandparents. A child is the bearer of the tradition of a particular family. But there are many people in this world that could not enjoy the happiness of being parents. Physical incapability can be the cause of a person’s being sterile. Medical science had also cleared up the fact that both the partners, i.e. husband and wife contribute together to give the birth of a child; a physical incapability in this reproductive process from the part of any one of the partner can lead to sterility.

Thus, in such conditions, many people prefer to adopt a child so that they can carry out their family tradition. Adopting a child also gives the orphan baby a life security; it can ensure the baby lifelong care, education, good health and secured future. But after adopting a child, parents often face great difficulty as to how to groom up the new family member. It is because of lack of parenting knowledge. There are many families who become afraid of adopting a child; it is especially true in case of families who are quite orthodox and greatly believe in cast system. But the world is becoming more and more liberal. These days people, who fail to give birth to a baby, prefer to go for child adoption.

After the adoption of the child, parents often face problem to develop a bond. But to be true it is very easy to develop a healthy relation with the adopted child. The difficulty often varies due to the age of the child. One thing that parents need to remember is the child only wants love and affection from the side of the parents. There are some simple steps that parents can follow to develop a strong bond with their adopted child. These are briefly discussed below:-

• Give Unconditional Love- Make the child feel your love. Don’t miss any opportunity to show the child that you love the child without any condition
• Find Activities- Find out some activities through which you can spend some good time with your child. this time will give you and the child the scope to understand each other
• Give a Personal Space- Let the child enjoy the personal space and time. Don’t force the child to do anything, means don’t impose any rule. If you want to teach the child anything new, let the child understand first the value of the thing
• Respect the Child- Always respect the feeling and expectation of the child. Ask the child whether they want to celebrate a particular festival or seek for their advice also
• Spend some Quality Time- When your child first arrives, try to budget at least a few weeks off to spend time with the child

The relationship will build with time. As the child begins to see that you respect and care about them, love will grow. They will slowly begin to see you as "mom or dad" and their early life will become less important as they become involved in school, sports, etc. Just try and be an open and honest parent, and everything will work out fine.
