The custom memory sticks are memory units that can be easily moved from one place to another. Such a device is suitable for several electronic devices, be it Portable play stations or digital cameras. The custom memory sticks are said to be the best option for certain devices because of its small size and huge memory storage. If you want to install the stick into your computer, it is important to plug the device into the computer directly. It is quite easy to install the memory stick by following certain guidelines.
• The device that you are using like camera, PSP or some other electronic item contains the part where batteries and memory units are placed. Open that lid and you could easily identify the top of the stick.
• Now, press the memory stick downwards so that it jerks out of the device. Pull the stick out with the help of your fingers.
• The stick has to be inserted in the similar manner as it was taken out. You are required to open the lid of the device you are using and place the stick inside it. It should then be pressed in downward direction so that it gets inside the device.
• In the next step, the USB connector cable should be plugged into the USB port of the electronic device that you are using. The cord’s other end should not be forgotten to be plugged into the computer.
• You can find a caption on both the computer and power on the device informing that a new device has been noticed. When camera is used as a device and the software of photography is set up on the computer, the device begins downloading the images out from the memory stick.
• The next step is opening ‘my computer’ and then selecting ‘removable disk’ from various options. It depends on the kind of device as to what is the actual letter of the drive. It is so because the letter might vary from device to device. Copy and paste all those items that you wish to keep in the computer by using the memory stick.
