Removing a Trojan virus from your computer can be quite tricky. Some Trojans are known to cut off resources to other programs they will not let you launch any other programs including your antivirus if you have one.

A Trojan virus is the most common type of virus that affects users around the world. It is a challenge for antivirus companies to tackle them because each day there are new Trojans being coded and let loose in cyber world.
Trojan horse is the most common type of malware. The sole aim of a malware is to install itself and stay on your computer without being detected or shutdown. A Trojan horse disguises itself into something that you might wish to install on your computer. It could be the promise of software that would give free access to music and movies. Or a free program that is otherwise available only if you pay .It could also be in form of an attachment sent out through mass spam email. This will usually contain in its subject a current events topic which will tempt the user to open the email and read all about it.
A type of Trojan horse known as droppers open the gates for other malware to be installed once it gains access to your computer bypassing any security if there exists one. Droppers not only affect your computer but would attack the entire network of computers.

Here are few steps that can help you get rid of a Trojan virus from your computer:
• Launch the task manager by hitting CTRL + ALT + Del key simultaneously. Once it has launched click on the processes tab and click on every process that has a number in the CPU row. Click on end process to stop these programs from running.
• After this click on Start>Computer>C: drive>Program Files>Temp files and delete all the temporary files in the folder. Also empty the recycle bin.
• Then go to Start>RUN> and type %temp%. Delete all the files in the folder that will open and empty the recycle bin again.
• Restart your computer and hit the F8 key as soon as the manufacturer’s logo flashes. From the list that appears select safe mode with networking.
• Download Malware bytes off the internet and install it. Once installed update it and run a scan to delete all malicious codes from your computer.
• Once done make sure you purchase or download a good antivirus and update it.
An updated antivirus will help keep your computer safe in the future.
