How Students Can Contribute To Stop Global Warming

Throughout history, students are always seen to be the driving force in bringing about social change. It is a common phrase that students are the future of a nation.

Throughout history, students are always seen to be the driving force in bringing about social change. It is a common phrase that students are the future of a nation. But we should also remember that they are the citizen of the world. They are the future contributors of a society. It is their future action that contributes to the development of deterioration of a particular country or nation. The future is not somewhere we are going. It is something we are creating. Every day we do things that make some futures more probable and others less likely.

There are many issues that we need to be concerned about as a global citizen. Deforestation and global warming are the two major issues that the whole world is concerned about now. The environment of the world is constantly changing. The length of the seasons is also changing as a result of this warming. It is observed that the surface of the earth is constantly warming and the earth is experiencing a rapid increase in the normal temperature of it. There are various man made causes that are responsible for this. Reduction of the rainforests, continued growth in hydrocarbon industries, increases in livestock, and depletion of the ozone are all considered factors in the debate.

Though we often come across debates and discussions on this global issue, but this is not enough. Action plans must be implemented to fight this consequence. Though the governments of the different nations are adopting plans to stop deforestation and reduce the temperature of the world, a strong public consciousness is strongly needed. Along with the adults, the school and college students also must have enough knowledge about that so that they can also contribute to stop this. As the students are the future, so they must take steps to secure the future of the earth. There are various ways through which students can participate in global environment protection programs.

These are briefly discussed below:-

Using the daylight is an effective way of reducing global warming. The government can take different initiatives to make children aware of how they can use daylight saving time and can contribute to reduce earth warming.

Students should be encouraged to use environment friendly vehicles like bicycles. But government also should arrange for the good road conditions, parking places in schools.

The schools should include more environment related subjects to the school curriculum to increase the students’ consciousness about environmental issues.

Students should be taken on the excursions to the places where they can be taught about the importance of environment in our lives. A practical experience can be a great encouraging factor for them.

Students should be made educated about the positives of recycling the products. For this, people should be made inclined to use recyclable products more in their day to day activities. The effectiveness of these measures will be tracked. In general, these measures are a large-scale social experiment for the prevention of global warming.
