Depending on the level of satisfaction they get they will either choose to take the product or continue with the older one they used.

A free sample is an investment in the customer. Once the company gives out these free stuffs they get to inform there clients of the new range of products they have and even the new stores available. This will encourage unconscious buying and assist the company to increase sales.

From one free sample given by the company a good number of customers will get to know the goodness of the new product. Research has shown that whenever you go into a store to shop their is over 70 % chance that you will purchase the item you saw being advertised or the one you have physically touched and used before. This kind of buying is the one referred to as unconscious buying. Free samples can also be used as a way of getting information from customers about a new product in the market. However you are advised to only accept this method if it is a reputable company offering the free sample. What happens is you trade a product with your clients email address or phone number.

After they have used the product you can now ask for feed back on how they feel about the products they got.This enables the company to understand the customer needs and adjust the products accordingly to meet the customer needs. This assists greatly in improving the sales of a company. This is a good way to increase awareness of a good product in the market and also increase sales subsequently.
