Monte Vista has a hotel with drive-in theatre that allows you to watch movies on big screen right from the comfort of your own room. You don't have to sit all night and watch movies. All these reasons make this an excellent spring destination for me and my family. It offers something for everyone. The best part is that it doesn't burn a hole in my pocket. It's not difficult to find economical accommodation in Monte Vista. What is required is a dedicated effort and booking in advance. Room rates here can be as high as $400 a night in the heart of the city. View outside the window matters a lot to me. Since I'm a nature lover, I make sure to book an accommodation that offers scenic views and not of something like parking lot or hustle-bustle of the city. Spanish for Mountain View, Monte Vista is a place from where you can enjoy beautiful views of mountains. And that's why I booked a hotel on US Highway 160 W. It's a small motel but offers excellent views. It's in my budget and the best part is it doesn't compromise on basic essentials. Like you live in your house, it offers you all homely comforts. The environment is cool, calm and very friendly. The rooms can be booked in non-smoking area, if you're traveling with children. Part from this, it has a movie manor that allows you to watch movies right from the comfort of your bed. So, during the day we plan to cover outdoor attractions and at night watch movies.
