Debates and opinions are flinging hither and across about the job status that the future years will see. Many opine in a pessimistic tone, while those who are optimistic will realise the advantages that the future holds for them, at least in terms of the jobs that are supposed to come up.
For many students, who are about to enter into the world of professional courses, it is a matter of much concern about their subject choices that they would be making in the graduation and post graduation classes. When the students go for these classes, they need to think about the future prospects.
Different era has seen shifts in the pattern of jobs and the interest of the people. Many a times, the job scenario is driven by the existing economic and infrastructural development in the world. Government jobs have seen a crest and trough in terms of the demands where there was a phase in the late 20th century, where government jobs were given a go by, and private jobs were preferred.
With the introduction of information technology and computers in the whole of the world, a new face of employment opportunities came up, and people were drawn towards it in large numbers. But then, the scenario took a twist and jobs in government sector again came into reckoning. As the time passes, the scenario again changes and jobs 2012 are looking at a very different perspective.
Most of the analysts and observers are putting their predictions on such sectors which use the information technology and other technical methodologies to have a high rate of job availability. Mostly, the health sector, the industries using technology, and such areas where the information is power, are being betted upon for the maximum growth. There will be more usage of digital information and communication facilities will be on the better side.
Those, who are skilled and semi-skilled, regarding the use of information technology, will be in demand. And this demand will extend both into the government jobs and the positions in the private sector. In the rising demand of jobs in these sectors, the limits will transcend the geographical boundaries. Predictions are rife about free flow of information and the people who would have the knowledge of their utilisation.
Along with increase in the recruitment in sectors where technology use is more, there will be a better pay for the recruits. It is being said in many circles that the hike in pay would be somewhere around the range of 20-30%, and this is something more than encouraging for the students who are in a fix about choosing the subjects of their choice.
Jobs 2012, will be a prelude to the better things that are about to come across the suitable candidates. Deserving students will be having a field day and many of them would be extended choices about selecting their employers. Talent, mixed with necessary computer skills will have a greater say in demanding the positions and the remunerations. Prospects are obviously looking up, and people are only required to enable themselves to grab the opportunities.
