The Honda CR-Z MUGEN features many bespoke prototype parts, some of which are created in carbon fibre such as the bonnet, passenger doors, rear tailgate and full length carbon fibre underbody.

The Honda CR-Z MUGEN features many bespoke prototype parts, some of which are created in carbon fibre such as the bonnet, passenger doors, rear tailgate and full length carbon fibre underbody. It also includes a twin central-exit exhaust, vented front bumpers and race-developed suspension, 4-piston monobloc brake calipers in orange and 18 inch alloy wheels, which complement the Valencia Orange Pearl exterior paint work.
For the interior, seats are covered in colour coded and MUGEN-branded leather/Alcantara. An additional information screen provides chassis and engine data and a satellite navigation and audio system. The system can also monitor the car and over two laps, "learn" a circuit and then record lap data and vehicle tracking via GPS.
Mark Trowbridge, Director of Quality and New Model at HUM , said: "Our Associates are all really excited to be producing the next generation of Civic here at Swindon. The next six months will be busy, as we ramp up to full production following the training and trial builds of the new car. The fact that we will be the only Honda plant in the world producing this hatchback version of the new Civic, makes us extremely proud of the highly skilled and dedicated team we have working here in Swindon."

My love for cars started from a very young age, and it got worse as I got older. Recently I lost my job, and with nothing to do all day, I decided to visit dealers of used cars in Newmarket to kill my time. While on my daily walk this morning, I bought a car magazine to read an interesting article about the MUGEN of Japan building a Honda CR-Z MUGEN RR design concept.
