A Christian school is an educational institution which is run with the vision to provide high quality education with the trust which is under a Christian Organization. It is generally believed that these schools run on the principles as prescribed by the Christian society. The nature of a Christian school varies from one country to another. There might be Christian schools present which run on the basis of the teachings prescribed by the Father of a local Church or schools which run on preset principles of the Christian religion and depends on the country.
The largest Christian based education system is prescribed by the Roman Catholic Church which is present in the United States of America. The schools which come under this category are called as the parochial schools. There are a large number of schools which are run so and have a wide range of recognition all over the States. The Protestant Christian schools are also present in the United States. These schools are privately run and parents who want their children to be a part of these schools can register as they wish. These schools follow the teachings from a church.
These schools are not funded by the Government of the United States of America but have volunteers who fund them. If there is a deficit in the funds then the students who join need to pay some deposits to help in the growth of the school and the organization. There is a church in the United States called as the “Episcopal Church in the United State of America” which runs over 1000 schools inside America. There are certain schools which come under this group which have played a significant role in the development of the students of the United States of America.
The Groton School in Massachusetts and St Paul's in New Hampshire are to be named among them as they developed the society to a great extent and hence established themselves within the society. The Eastern Orthodox Church and the Baptist churches are some of the other churches which are present in the United States of America which operate some Christian schools. Other Christian schools are also present in Canada, the United Kingdom, Africa, Russia, The Netherlands and Australia.
