When you think of San Antonio, the neighborhoods of Terrell Hills, Olmos Park, Stone Oak and the Dominion probably come to mind. However, there are many fantastic neighborhoods of San Antonio, many of which don’t get the attention at others.
If you are looking for San Antonio homes for sale, consider some of these great neighborhoods:
• Hollywood Park – This quiet community in San Antonio has plenty of great San Antonio homes for sale, so it’s worth a look if you are seeking a new San Antonio property. Consisting of older, larger homes with large lots, Hollywood Park is a popular spot for San Antonio families. Located within Loop 1604, near the Highway 281 interchange, this small community has just over 3,000 residents, although the population has certainly increased over the last decade because of its ideal proximity near San Antonio. Most of the San Antonio homes for sale in Hollywood Park sit on ½ to 1 acre lots.
• Lavaca – Lavaca has plenty of great San Antonio homes for sale, thanks to its excellent proximity to downtown San Antonio and its affordability. Monte Vista was declared a national landmark in 1998 and is now listed on the National Register of Historical Places. The historical homes of Monte Vista are protected through the active Monte Vista Historic District. Many visitors come to Monte Vista to gush over the beautifully restored homes and the exquisite architecture. Monte Vista, in addition to being known for its beautiful homes, is also the site of many bed and breakfasts.
