During the recession period, there are large numbers of job layoffs. Many people lost their jobs resulting to a decline in the standards for their lifestyle. Therefore, in order to safeguard themselves from future recession people started searching for jobs in the government sector, as government jobs are quite well-known for its stability and job security. Though the salary scales are lesser than any private jobs but they come up with good retirement benefits. However, in recent years with the increase in demand for specific skills and experiences, government sectors have assessed their salary scales to suit the job market to ensure that more suitable candidates can be recruited in to these specific job roles.
As far as the government jobs in Bangalore are concerned, they are very demanding and at the same time very less in number. As almost all the public services have got privatized therefore the number of jobs in the government sector has reduced to a great extent. And there has been a considerable hike in the salary almost to a forty to fifty percent after the implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission. Though the government jobs in Bangalore are available from the very low level to the top managerial posts but to grab these jobs experience, education qualification, family background and most importantly the success in entrance examination is required. The various tests which are taken to qualify for these jobs are Civil Services Entrance Examination, State Level Entrance Tests for banks etc. All the top level services are grabbed through tests only.
Government jobs are the safest and secure option for leading a hurdle-free life. Job seekers should know the type of jobs available in the market and the perquisites for the positions to grab them out as these jobs require specific training and skills.
