This city resounds with parties and carnivals all the year round. Whether beach parties or its exciting nightlife includes lively clubs, discotheques and many one can find there every source of entertainment. Apart from beaches and night life, this state is equally popular for its lively and friendly people, exotic food and fascinating culture, which is quite similar to western-culture. Apart from beaches there are many other attractions that make this state natural paradise such as its tropical green forests, mesmerizing waterfalls, wildlife parks and ranges of floras and faunas.
Goa has been a rich past, several rulers have ruled there for long time and just to show their power they have built there so many forts and monuments which are still preserved in good form and comes among major Goa tourist places. Churches are also been the essential part of Goa’s history. The churches were very impressive with decorated pediments and colorful frescos and wall paintings. The historical places in Goa include the three big churches namely the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Covent of St. Francis of Assisi and Se Cathedral.
Besides there are so many attractions of tourist’s interest but most of the people visit this state only to explore it mesmerizing beaches which are in abundance. Beaches are like a heartthrob of state and playing an essential role in Goa tourism. Beaches of the state are generally categorized into two major regions, beaches of north region and beaches of south regions. Both the regions have there distinctive features but north region beaches are much developed as comparatively to south region beaches and offers a great opportunity to the party-seekers. But if you are looking for peace and wish to spend your vacations away from any kind of disturbance then you must head to south-region beaches. If you are with your partner and wish to spend some romantic moment together then, south region beaches would be perfect for you.
Anjuna, Agonda, Arambol, Benaulim, Candolim, Chapora and Vagator, Colva, Palolem are the few popular beach destinations of Goa.
