Goa is known as the pearl of the orient in terms of natural beauty. This queen of the beaches is situated on the western coast of the country. Palm coconut trees, golden sands, roaring sea waves, numerous water sports and other adventurous activities make it a perfect place for memorable tours.

Goa Beaches
Its sun kissed beaches cover 125 km of coastline. Adjacent to the sea, lush green vegetations, hills and high cliff are found. The major beaches are Arambol Beach, sited at 50 km north of Panaji which is a dream destination for nature lovers. Aguada Beach, a beautiful place is famous for its Portuguese fortress, Fort Aguada. Bogmalo, a simply beautiful beach is clean and not overcrowded. Benaulim beach, one of the quiet beaches, is famous for fishing. Calangute, the queen of beaches, is situated on the shores of the Arabian Sea and in the shade of Palm trees. It has pristine surroundings. Bagha is a small and perfect beach and is situated between two beaches, Colva and Calangute. Feasting on fresh seafood on the beach of Calangute is another attraction of this place. Cavelossim Beach in South Goa is also a most famous beach in the region. The beach is 10 km wide and probably the most beautiful beach in South Goa. Colva Beach is the best known tourist attraction and it is the largest beach of entire South Goa beaches.

Churches
These are the natural treasures and an integral part of this city. The history of these churches is that most of these churches were built on the sites of former temples after getting destroyed by the Portuguese. Since then, it has been the key attraction of the city and a major part of Goa tours. The unique architecture of the churches is influenced by Portuguese art and Indo – European style. The prime attractive churches are Chapel of Our Lady of the Mount, Chapel of St. Catherine, Chapel of St Francis Xavier, Convent and Church of St. Francis of Assisi, Church and Convent of St. Monica, Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, Church of St. Cajetan and else. These churches are the valuable parts of social, cultural and religious aspects of the destination.

Wildlife
The beautiful state of Goa is rich and varied in wildlife’s. It has around 1512 varieties of plants, 275 kinds of birds and 48 types of animals. Approximately one third of the area of the entire state is occupied by forests. Different wildlife sanctuaries like Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and Catigao Wildlife Sanctuary are found here.
