Prague is an interesting city with plenty of sightseeing opportunities, cultural events and such. But what happens when the sun goes down on Central Europe’s preserved gem? What is the nightlife in Prague like? Prague becomes a different city full of creeping shadows in dimly lit lanes, circling bats above your head and a definite sense of crazy fun.

Beer Gardens
The Czech Republic is famous for many things, castles, beautiful women, an incredibly difficult language to master, and of course, beer. Beer! The liquid gold is best enjoyed outside with friends on a sunny day or a warm summer night, surrounded by locals and tourists alike.

Bars
Prague has thousands of traditional Czech pubs, but what happens when you are craving something more Western? Thanks to the steady increase of tourism over the years, Prague has grown into a cosmopolitan city serving a steady flow of, what else but, Cosmopolitans. There are many good bars, fully stocked and ready to be explored by tourists, expats and local clientele. The majority of the bars are located in the city center, so it is easy and convenient to enjoy a night of bar hopping.

Lava Bar & Club
On a cold winter’s night, Lavka Bar & Club is a good place for a drink and a dance. On a hot summer's evening though, Lavka is just about the best night out in Prague, bar none.

Lavka sits right on the banks of the River Vltava, next to Charles Bridge. With terraces both at the back and at the front, there are stunning views to be enjoyed, across the water and up to Prague Castle.

Karlovy Lazne
Karlovy Lazne is the largest music club complex in Central Europe, and one of the coolest places in Prague to hang out.

One entrance fee gets you a ticket to 5 clubs on 5 levels. Each floor has its own style, from disco to hardcore trance; enough variation to keep even the most ardent clubber entertained all night.

Jazz and Blues Clubs
Nightlife in Prague is quite varied and provides fun options for clubbers, drinkers and of course music lovers. For those who enjoy Jazz and Blues, Prague does not offer a huge selection of clubs like Chicago, for example but the small selection is good. With Prague Jazz and Blues clubs quality reigns over quantity and you will certainly enjoy an evening of live music in Prague from local and international Jazz and Blues bands with your friends in the gorgeous city of Prague.

All in all Prague is a fantastic destination and no matter if you are on a stag party, a romantic trip or on a leisure holiday, there is something for everyone on a weekend breaks in Prague. Prague is a city that remains beautiful and breathtaking not only during the summer, but throughout all the year long.
