We all know the hazardous effects of Industries and Automobiles on the environment. The emission from these sources is very perilous to our health and can even cause death. The pollution levels must be controlled very systematically in order to keep danger at bay and construct a green and bright future for our off springs.

The air quality standards definitely have to be kept a strict check on. With the increasing number of automobiles every day the earth is just becoming a difficult and dangerous place to live in. There are many solutions to these problems and the easiest and most efficient one is by keeping a check. For this we require certain equipments which can perform and deliver correct outputs. It is important for the government of each country to come up with a certain set of rules which each citizen should abide by to make the world a safer place.
A few of the exhaust checking mechanisms used are:
Gas Sensors: They detect the amount of gases present in the air. There are various types of sensors. These sensors can detect up to 4 different gases simultaneously. They are very useful to keep a stringent eye on pollution check.
• They can be upgraded on a later date as technology advances. This does not require too much hardware changes. The upgrade cost would be minimal and cost effective.
• They can be specifically designed keeping in mind the user requirements.
• They are configured in such a manner that they can be set to notify users of the amount of gas levels which is needed for the environment.
• The response time of these analysers is surprisingly fast. They can detect presence of gases immediately and hence they are fault proof.
• Exhaust Gas Analyser: They are similar in functionality as the gas sensors, the only difference being that they can produce a very descriptive output as to what are the contents present in the air.
• They have a very wide dynamic range of measurement. They can be measured in percentage as well as parts per billion. This range of measurement is the speciality of analysers as they excel the characteristics of a gas analyser.
• They can measure gases such as Nitrogen Dioxide, Sulphur Dioxide, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Oxide, Water, Methane, Ammonia Gas, Butane, Hydrogen Sulphide, and Hydrogen Peroxide.
• The scanning mechanism used is usually the infrared technology which is very advanced and produces results which are absolutely close to the real time result.

They have very less error percentage and most of the times these devices function with absolutely no error in their results.
