Once upon a time there was a very powerful king called Mayadenawa. Mayadenawa was a descendant of Daitya (powerful giant), the son of Dewi Danu. Because of his power, he can turn into many types of creatures and shapes.
This king ruled the area of Makasar, Sumbawa, Bugis, Lombok, and Blambangan. Because of its great power, has become cruel and Mayadenawa snob. In this time of a priest with divine power, called Mpu Kulputih. Mayadenawa did not allow the Balinese to worship the God, and he destroyed all the temples.
For this reason the people of Bali became desperate, the plants were destroyed, the plate was everywhere. People dared not fight or argue about Mayadenawa because of his magical power.
Mpu Kulputih was so sad to see this condition. Then he meditated at Pura Besakih to ask God's guidance to manage the chaos of Bali society caused by the behavior of the king. Then he got advice from the Mahadewa God to go to Jambu Dwipa (India) and ask for help.
It is not clear who was finally sent to India, and how was it until a platoon of soldiers from the sky came to attack Mayadenawa. It has been said that the god Indra led the troops of heaven with complete weapons to Bali. In this attack and Citrasena Citragada leads the pack in the right wing.
