Pakistan cricket team manager Intikhab Alam is too much positive about the national team's future outlook in the Twenty20 cricket as he has a firm belief that Pakistan has lot of potential and talented players. Intikhab, who is managing the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) camp in Lahore, said there is probability that the young people could be short-list to practise as a professional T20 team for next year's World Cup that will be held in Sri Lanka in September. Pakistan, the trailing finalists of the opening T20 World Championship in 2007 and the champion in 2009 in England, lately held its first super eights T20 competition in Faisalabad, which saw a number of adolescents producing an impact in the nonappearance of top stars like Shahid Afridi, Abdul Razzaq, Umar Gul and others. The previous Test captain were highly obliged and said that the nationalized selectors were satisfied with the young talent in T20 cricket. Intikhab was impressed by the performance of the young players and enthusiastically said that "The selectors have already started working on a plan to finalise a pool of players who would eventually form a T20 squad. The future is looking bright," "The feeling is that T20 cricket is a young man's game and requires a different approach and the youngsters we have seen in the national championship and the camp are pretty good," he added. "We have some young players who are big hitters and we have seen bowlers equipped to even defend small totals in T20 cricket," he noted. Intikhab is optimistic about the bright future that Pakistani players are focused on, he also said with T20 cricket getting on fast track and being famous.
