Most of the major players in car manufacturing are aiming to launch their small car model in India. At present small cars are in great demand so in order to maintain this pace and to overcome the slowdown in the market the auto makers are mainly concentrating on small compact cars. Ford India ran on the road of success with the launch of its small car. Ford Figo, and now company has launched its new upgraded version of Ford Fiesta on 14th of this month.</p> <p>As per the President and MD of Ford India Mr Michael Boneham, Ford India is going to launch eight cars by the end of year 2015 and the company has initiated this with the launch of new Ford Fiesta. Furthermore he added that huge demand of hatchbacks in the country has made the company to think on its strategy and as a result of it Ford India comes with a decision of such a massive production. He also added that at present Indian car market is facing a rigorous competition with around 20 models from 11 different manufacturers. However this competitive car market is responsible for the 70% of total car sales in the country.</p> <p>The recently launched Ford Fiesta is available in both petrol and diesel variant. The New Ford Fiesta Price for its petrol variant is Rs 8.31 lakh to Rs 9.51 lakh whereas the Ford Fiesta price for its diesel variant is Rs 9.36 lakh to 10.52 lakh. The new Ford Fiesta is equipped with 1.5 litre petrol as well as diesel engine which provides a promising mileage of 17 kmpl and 23.5 Kmpl respectively. Ford Fiesta features include a Bluetooth device for its audio system, anti lock brake system, cruise control and front airbags.</p> <p>According to Mr Michael Boneham there is a drastic increase in the demand of diesel cars due to petrol hike in the country. Ford India is currently undergoing the crisis of diesel cars. He further added that this huge demand of diesel cars has effected the sales of Ford Figo.
