It is never wrong or unethical to wish or want your house to be better designed or better looking that the others. But then, if it has got to look better it has to be designed that way and the interiors decorated skillfully to deserve the praise it demands. A lot of effort has to be put into the choices that you make in selecting the pieces that would decorate your living or drawing.
If the interiors of your home have to stand out from the rest and you thereby enjoy some exclusive privilege then the composition of your design elements have a vital say on the issue. If and when you are not satisfied by the commonalities that enter your decorations it is time that you shifted your source of inspiration else where; probably towards nature.

How long have you been searching for that perfect piece of art to add that special zing in your living room or bed room or patio. And yet you are undecided over what to buy? With all the ideas and options out there, picking the right one that fits your style, taste and budget can be a real challenge. But if you still keep looking around, you won't miss what you have been searching for – the zing thing. Man’s proximity and affiliation to nature is nothing new to us. But living inside closed door have we distanced ourselves from nature or have we integrated it better into our lives through harmoniously inviting and embracing it within our living spaces? The use of flower pots, indoor plants, water ponds, water fountains all embrace the idea of bringing nature indoors, which when well cared for has positive effects on our being and state of mind.

Still dwelling on the idea of nature and design one element of nature that we have used as a source of heat and light is the fire. Though it is a common feature during the winter to light up the fire places it remains off use through the rest of the year. None the less fire can be used as an object of beautification in its contained, controlled and prolonged form – call it the fire pot. The dancing flames that shoot up into the air from glazed ceramic pots are a delight to watch in any back ground, though the darker, the better. Fire pots can either become the focus of your entire room or hall if they are centrally positioned. Huge fire pots in contrasting or matching colors, rightly placed at the centre with ideal seating positions around can kill the blandness of any huge hall. As the fire pots come in a variety of sizes and shapes, placement will be never a problem with it. Any existing counter top or table that is big enough to support the weight of the fire pot is all it takes to position this piece of dynamic art. As most are made from ceramic and hand glazed, the choice of design and colors are unlimited. The energy produced from a lit up fire pot is beneficial to all and it needs to be strategically placed to draw in all that positive energy, as per Feng Shui masters.
