There are various types of electrical cooling fans in the market today. For cooling the room initially we use to use the electrical ceiling fan or an electrical table fan. Some places used the traditional way of cooling through electrical coolers fans which cooled the room like an A/C does today, the electrical cooler needed to be filled with water. Now in the technological era there are many electronic appliances which need cooling fans in the appliance to keep them cool.

There are many types of electrical cooling fans available and to name a few:

1. Electric auto cooling fan : used in an AC

2. Mini cooling fans: used as hand fan which works on electricity or the small fan attached to the thread mill that you exercise on.

3. Amplifier cooling fan

4. Computer cooling fans

5. Jeep cooling fan

Also various automobile Electric cooling fans are used in many vehicles instead of belt driven mechanical fan to improve the fuel economy and reduce fan noise, especially when the vehicle is driven at the highway speed.

Another advantage of using electrical cooling fan in the vehicles is that the electrical cooling fan has a temperature-sensing power circuit which only runs the fan when extra cooling is needed. The newer vehicle with computerized engine controls, the fan operation is often regulated by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

There are some problems that you can face in the electrical cooling fan and those are:

1. The fan failure, or failure of the fan relay or control circuit is bad news because it can allow the engine to overheat.

2. If the coolant sensor is defective the computerized engine never gets hot enough to turn on the fan.

3. If the motor of the electric fan is bad then it can cause a problem.

There is a simple quick method you can check the electrical cooling fan in your vehicle , what you need to do is a quick check. To do the quick check of the fan circuit is, to start the engine and turn on the A/C to maximum. If the fan runs then the fan motor, relay, fuse, and wiring are all okay.
