Imagine going to a place a few miles from Cairo with Egyptian history and art alive! At the Pharaonic Village repeat the buildings, clothing, and ways of life, a complete copy of the tomb of Tutankhamun and museums related to the different eras of Egyptian history.

Pharaonic Village is a replica of the tomb of King Tutankhamun. The word "copy" do not really do justice to wonder.

Pharaonic Village is dedicated to creating a fun and educational capital. It offers unique pieces that cover 5000 years of Egyptian history. Each collection has the most demanding standards. Our artifact replicas were made using the same materials and techniques as the originals, but we dioramas and models as much detail as possible, reports the information up-to-date methods of the ancient Egyptians.

Pharaonic Village is a collection of exhibits static and unchanging. Rather, it is a living, breathing entity that changes every day a series of functions in Egypt. Pharaonic Village offers a range of services designed to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. After all, in ancient Egypt, and our guests, just like today, was known for its hospitality.
In 1974, Dr. Ragab Papyrus place in the non-profit and began converting Jacob Island in the detailed copy of Egyptian life. His first step was to plant 5000 trees block the view of modern Cairo, which surrounds the island. The first trees were planted with weeping willows, sycamores and palm trees are easily recognizable paintings in the tomb in Egypt, as a part of life. But much more than plants, flowers, birds and other animals are also represented in the paintings no longer exist in Egypt, and some have been turned off. But Dr. Ragab has not discouraged. It was already known to travel far to find what he needed. Years before, he went to Sudan and Ethiopia, to find the roots of papyrus previous projects, and now he went out again in search of plants and animals of the Pharaonic Village.

He returned to Cairo with seeds, seedlings and roots of plants that flourished in Egypt thousands of years, and a special surprise, the famous goose Meidum so often depicted in ancient Egyptian art, but in mind long extinct in the modern world. He turned in his quest, from the mouth of the Atbara River, Ethiopia, and in any place found something new and wonderful to come back. Gradually, a collection of plants and animals not seen in Egypt over the centuries the island has met Jacob. Over the next six years worked for Dr. Ragab their findings to live and grow in Egyptian soil, soil that thousands of years before had been his home.

I think the idea of ??people are good, but demand is low. It is a purely commercial project, where they feel exploited by the leaders trying to push to spend money on food or ice is broken something. Everything is double origin. It is very expensive and overrated. Not worth it.

Pharaonic Village is the place where you can learn to live with the pharaohs. You will see people dressed in costumes of the Pharaohs, by showing how the ancient pharaoh lived, how they dress, and the houses looked like and what kind of food they have.
