Friends, today we are going to see the concepts behind different types of equations and how can we solve them with the help of Internet or by using online help. First question arises is that What is an equation? An equation is basically a condition on the variable or we can say that an equation is a mathematical expression which shows the equality of two expressions. It means that the left hand side of the equation is equal to right hand side of the equation. For example
2x + y = 6
Today we are going to discuss about algebraic expressions, differential equations and linear equations. Algebraic expressions is a branch of mathematics which deals with the study of the rules of operations and relations. Symbols can be an Arabic numerals , literal numerals or mathematical operators. Let's take an example:
4x – z = c
Here x and y are variables, c is a constant, 1 is the coefficient of variable z, and 4 is a coefficient of variable x. Here – is the operator.

y = mx + b
where x and y are two variables and m and b are two constants.
The constant m determines the slope or gradient of that line and the constant b shows the point at which line crosses the Y-axis. Constant b is also known as Y-Intercept.
Linear equation can be solved in two ways:
First one is to isolate the variable in a given equation:
for example we need to solve 2x+3=15 then
subtract 3 from both the sides to make it easier
2x + 3 – 3 = 15 – 3
then it becomes 2x = 12
now finally we get the answer for the variable x that is x = 12/2 = 6.
Second method to solve a linear equation is graph method. The graph of every linear equation in two variables is a linear equation. 2X + 3y = 15
In above equation by putting different values of x we are able to get values for y as well which helps to make a graph for linear equation.
