Due to their small frame, they are perfect for construction and repair.

Another popular tractor is the compact utility tractor. These tractors are much smaller than agricultural tractors. The tractors are perfect for landscaping projects. They can be fitted with several different attachments. Some of the most popular attachments include the landscape rake, brush hog, rototiller and box blade. For area that receive large amount of snow, a snow blower attachment can be added to the rear of the tractor. These tractors are perfect for one or two row planting.

Many homeowners own the garden tractor. These are perfect for small gardening jobs and mowing grass. They are often mistaken for a ride-on lawnmower. The garden tractor is small and light weight. Along with cutting grass, the garden tractor can also haul small loads.

Today, tractors are used by NASA and many railway companies. NASA uses tractors to move space shuttles and launch pads. Railways use tractors to move locomotives. Tractors can even be found in airports. Push-back tractors can move aircraft's.
