On a rainy day or winter, a cup of hot cocoa with cream, is the best possible drink. For relishing a cup of heaven, take ¼ cup cocoa powder, ½ cup sugar, 1/3 cup water, 2 cups of milk, ¼ cup cream and a pinch of salt. Now heat the water in a pan and wait till it comes to boil. Add the cocoa powder, salt, and sugar and allow it to boil, with continuous stirring. Now add the milk and heat it for some more duration. Now turn of the flame, and pour them in mugs and add a cream to it. Have it while it is hot.
For this hot cup of cocoa, you can prepare chocolate chunk cookies. Take 2 large eggs, 1 cup of butter, ½ cup sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 2 ¼ cup of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and salt, 1 package of semi sweet chocolate morsels, and a half cup of firmly packed light brown sugar. Now riddle the flour, salt, and the baking soda together and keep it aside. Now take an electric blender, and mix the butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time and blend them together. Now add the flour little by little and mix them until it is blended well. Add the chocolate morsels. Preheat the oven at a 375 degree Fahrenheit and then spoon the cookie dough on a greased tray. Cook it for 9 to 10 minutes until the cookies are brown in color. Let the cookies cool down.
Apart from these usual recipes, you can prepare the chocolate bread. Take 3 cups of all purpose flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon refined oil, ¼ cup of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 sachet instant yeast, and a cup of warm water. In a large mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, salt, and cocoa powder. In another separate bowl, mix some water and yeast. Now combine them both. Add oil and stir well until it is smooth by adding water too. Knead this dough on a floured surface for a couple of minutes. Roll the dough and bake it in a oven which is preheated at a 400 degree F until it is done.
