Many people actually do wonder why milk would contribute to arthritis and this is so because they sometimes believe there is no enough evidence to support that. Some also believe on the other hand that, milk only becomes a cause when a milk allergy is present. It is well noted that often a substance that the body recognizes as foreign or harmful such as an allergen can actually cause inflammation or immune system response.
Moreover, it has been found that some people who suffer from rheumatoid arthritis are allergic to milk and to be specific, cow's milk. Also there has been an observation that, substituting cows milk with alternatives such as soy milk and goat's milk has actually resulted in reduction of symptoms and this again should be clearly acknowledged. To be precise there is no official warning against drinking milk for people who possess this particular disease. There are however, numerous accounts of people who have realized that cutting cow's milk out from the diet has really made a remarkable difference in rheumatoid arthritis symptoms and this therefore means a lot.
Nevertheless, there have been some studies in the past years on the link between milk and arthritis. It was realized that, food induced arthritis and also milk resulted in the exacerbation inflammatory arthritis. When talking about the connection between milk products and arthritis, it is worthwhile to state that, in situations whereby people suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and who are also allergic to cow's milk, well there may be. On to whether to stop drinking milk when an individual has arthritis is a decision that can be made by that person and perhaps his or her doctor. Another procedure to really know whether this work is by trying to go on a milk free diet for at least three weeks and with this an individual can clearly say whether it is effective or not. But it is imperative to state that, as much as possible individuals should try to eat a well balanced diet as this is very necessary. In order to be completely be sure whether the vitamin D and calcium is initially obtained from milk is present; it is good to substitute with oat milk, soy milk or goat's milk.
