At the event of Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 launch, Dell came up with its all new Venue Pro slider smartphone. The hand set can be compared to the one released back in April this year.

At the event of Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 launch, Dell came up with its all new Venue Pro slider smartphone.Dell Venu Pro The hand set can be compared to the one released back in April this year. It had Windows Phone 7 running hand set.

The hand set is a portrait slider with a 4.1 inch long OLED display screen with Gorilla glass. The handset is given a portrait QWERTY keyboard which further increases its utility. It is expected to launch in the month of November. Prices of the cell phone are not decided yet.

The most attractive part of the hand set is its wonderful display which is a massive 4.1 inch WCGA OLED capacitive. The screen is multi touch display which helps the users for easy navigation. Moreover, the display is also blessed with a Gorilla Glass which was used in the Dell Streak tablet-smartphone. This one of the most prominent feature of the hand set which simply creates as edge over others. This amazing handset will also have 1GHz Qualcomm's Snapdragon QSD8250 microprocessor which will facilitate the smooth running of Windows Phone 7 on 1GB ROM.

Venue Pro slider smartphone will came with a 5MP camera which again makes it a choice of many photography fans. The camera will have the feature of autofocus. This hand set will truly give a tough competition to Android 2.2 as it supports H.263, MPEG4, DivX video formats, H.264, WMV and 3GP Dell Venue Pro also includes facilities like Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, Wi-Fi *(802.11 b/g/n), eCompass, light sensor, Proximity senso, 1400 mAh battery, G-sensor and FM Radeo.

One year from now, the Dell Venue Pro will bear 1GHz Qualcomm's Snapdragon QSD8250 microprocessor with the help of which Windows Phone 7 can run with greater ease.

This hand set is expected to create huge demand in the markets as it bears technologically more advanced features. Moreover, Dell is planning for further updates in the hand set which will further add to its advanced technology.
