Types of wools

d. Mohair refers to the wool taken from the spiral-horned angora goats from the Turkish city of Ankara, whilst angora rabbits are the source for the textile "angora". It is believed that these goats come from Tibet; these are delicate animals but do not hunt and survive with good food and clean surroundings. Mohair wool from small angora goats is found to be of finest quality, whilst those taken from adult angora are not considered desirable.
