This week, Troy and Abed want to watch a ‘very’ special edition of the movie The Dark Night, but things descend into chaos due to some German men that play foosball rather loudly. Jeff intervenes by telling them to cut it out.
Annie comes into play when she practically destroys the ‘very’ special edition of the movie the guys wanted to watch. Her attempts at replacing the destroyed disk with something else are met by Troy’s mistrust that it would work, seeing that Abed is so particular about his movie collection.
After that, we are showed how Shirley watches Jeff playing foosball in front of the German guys. She tells him that he shouldn’t strive so hard for some foreigners and he mentions that he used to be quite good at foosball until he was bullied, and walked away from it. Shirley claims that foosball is played by bad people and it leads only to evil deeds, and Jeff tries to tell her off by saying it’s a man thing that girls could not even understand. To prove him wrong, Shirley makes a demonstration of her skills in the game, leaving him with his mouth agape. Actually, he is so impressed that he wants her to teach him her special moves.
The next scene shows how Shirley teaches Jeff how to play foosball, and the boy is really enthralled with the girl’s performance. When she tells him that foosball is a game of being the prey or the hunter, he becomes even more excited, and things get quite a sexual vibe between the two. In the meantime, Abed comes home and wants to watch the movie, but Annie fakes a robbery, so she could blame the disappearance of the disk on someone else. However, the cops say there are no signs of breaking and entering, and Abed starts suspecting the landlord.
Shirley and Jeff continue their foosball adventure, and talk about the game while drinking margaritas. Shirley confesses that she wants made a boy really feel bad and even pee on himself because of the game, which is why she thinks foosball is evil. She also tells Jeff that he was that boy, and they both decide to play a match to get even. The scene turns into cartoons, and, at some point, the ball just gets stuck, allowing no winners. After that, the two make up and, after playing a game with the German guys, they also leave the ball stuck; after that, they go see a movie.
Abed, on the other hand, is decided to take justice in his own hands. He dressed up as Batman and enters Rick’s apartment to demand the DVD to be returned to its rightful owner. His act of vigilantism, however, does not impress the landlord that simply states he was not the one to take it. In the same time, Annie tries to convince Abed that she was the culprit, but it takes a while until the fake Batman understands the situation. Eventually, he believes her and even forgives Annie for breaking the disk.
