Algebra is one of the vast and most important area of study in mathematical world, as it covers almost all the important and interesting sections of our maths from our junior grades like 4th grade math, 5thGrade math etc to our college level. Our junior grades for example 6th Grade Math comes with following topics of Algebra: Ratios and proportions, percentages, equations for linear relationships, geometry etc.
Mathematics is like playing a game, we need to practice it to become perfect in it. Similarly Algebra is also like playing with variables. Algebra mainly consists of variables. If we talk in simple words then we will see that algebra is simply the art of replacing variables in place of numbers. Algebra comes with following categories: Elementary algebra, Abstract algebra, Linear algebra and Universal algebra.

It might also contain symbols of addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. For example:

here, x is the variable, + is the mathematical operator and 7 is the coefficient of x.
