At present, Cruze Eco is being delivering on-road mileage of about 16 km/l on highways and 9.5 km/l on city-ways but after having improved techno-packaging hopes to boost the figures of mileage upto 19.5 km/l on highways and 13.5 km/l within city arena.

Nowadays, diesel demands are seem to be spread everywhere as whole country is facing serious changes in fuel prices specifically petrol prices which are being deregulated by Indian Govt. to avail complete benefits of tax imposition. But, this step also leads to lowering of business standards and heightens rate of inflation. So, to get rid of these automakers have shaken their legs to develop most responsive diesel mechanism that could have easy approach to good mileage over well being performance about 20 to 40% more than petrol packaging. Apart from that, diesel versions could also render about 600 miles on topped up fuel tank that is impressively best in the comparison of petrol or electric driven power-trains.

Also, apart from that, a question arises that how different is this sedan?

For one, we expect to have intelligent work on the back seat of Chevrolet Cruze to loosen the ample space for both leg as well as head rooms. On the way, the similar range from MRF has also been introduced in June under the shed of ZSLK. And in recent times, Bridgestone, Japanese tyre maker, has launched the range of eco-friendly tyres in domestic market, Ecopia.

For now, customers are not very much aware of these eco-friendly tyres but it’s expected that as the companies introduce alike products, the awareness level is said to be goes up. But, because of having silica usage, these tyres are expensive than regular ones. This is the reason that only mid-size and premium segment cars are being fitted to these tyres at present. Ford Fiesta, Maruti Wagon R, Tata Indica, Nissan Micra, Honda City/Civic, Hyundai Santro, Maruti SX4, Skoda Octavia, etc are the cars which are availing the performance of these fuel-friendly tyres.
