There are several families that make an annual pilgrimage of sorts to come to the beaches of Puerto Rico. Of course you will want a wholesome atmosphere for your children to enjoy themselves in and one that really fits the bill for these requirements is Luquillo Beach. This is located around 30 miles towards the east of San Juan and is absolutely safe for families and couples looking for some fun time on the beach. The presence of coral reefs ensures that the beach is insulated from rough waters, which sometimes plague other beaches. The waters are calm, clear and safe.
