In order to get into the career of HR jobs, there is a need for good educational qualification like bachelor business degree, human resources administration degree, master’s degree in human resources.

According to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, a candidate with a degree in Human Resources can get employment as recruitment specialists, human resource coordinators, labor relations specialists. In the Human resource jobs, the Human resource coordinators will work for small or large companies and they need to interview new employees and train them. Their role also includes transferring and also terminating the current employees. They also handle some paper work that is associated with dental, medical, disability and also retirement benefits. The Recruitment specialists will have to travel to job fairs or colleges to search for many new applicants for jobs. In this job, the recruiters will interview the applicants, check for references, and describe about monetary compensation, working conditions, advancement opportunities and other related information.


The jobs for freshers in HR, as Labor relations specialists, they have to gather more information that need to be used during the negotiations with labor for issues like salary and wage increase, health care plans, pensions and union practices. They must be having an extensive knowledge about the labor law and also have skills in negotiating. The career in human resources is currently happening but the companies are more interested in the recruitment of candidates who have good ability to effectively communicate, diplomacy and also can match the employee’s skills and talent for the job rightly. The companies also expect the candidates entering into the field of HR to have good writing and speaking skills and they must be tactful, fair, congenial, levelheaded and persuasive.


Some of the other types of roles in the human resource jobs are occupational psychologist, recruitment manager, employee relation officer, equal opportunities officer, recruitment consultant, training and development officer and Human resources officer. HR jobs as Occupational psychologists will apply the knowledge of psychological practice and theory in his/her work. The main aim of their jobs is to help the organization to get the maximum best performance and job satisfactions from the employees. They will apply their expert knowledge to every level of work and also work on the issues of organization like issues at team level, individual issues, culture and any change in the work. The occupational psychologist may work as in-house or consultancy role.The training elements helps the staffs to understand and also enhance their skill and the development aspects are related to long-term, ongoing improvement in the skills of employees.
