If you are looking for an affordable BlackBerry handset, then you should keep in mind the upgraded BlackBerry Curve 9360. It is affordable and it boasts the incremental upgrades over the phone's predecessor. It may not be as fancy as the BlackBerry Bold 9900, but this is something that you would want to have if you want to own a budget-friendly BlackBerry smartphone.
This phone retains all of the design characteristics that are known to the famous BlackBerry line. The only difference is that it is now with thinner chassis. The phone is approximately at 0.43 inch thick. This also states that the handset is nothing but compact. The Curve 9360 might have a glossy plastic casing but it doesn't mean that it is frail or cheap. What the new cover did is that it made the phone lighter. It also boasts a razor sharp appearance compared to its predecessor.
You will instantly notice its larger 2.44 inch TFT display. It now comes with a higher resolution (480 x 360). With its new resolution and size, you will now get a much cleared picture density at 246 ppi. This means a crisper and deeper tone in colors. This is also the reason why it perfectly complements the classy appearance of the phone.
Just like all of the other BlackBerry handsets, you will find the phone's optical track pad and other BlackBerry buttons below the phone's display. Navigation is now made easier with the help of the phone's trackpad and physical buttons. With this phone, you will still enjoy your beloved BlackBerry keyboard. This makes typing your messages and emails a lot faster and easier.
If you look at the phone's sides, you will find the following: a 3.5mm headset jack; microUSB port for data connectivity and charging; Lock Button; Volume rocker; and Right convenience key.
You will also find an improved camera on this handset. You will now get a 5MP snapper at the back of the phone along with LED flash. If you open the back of the phone, you will then have an access to the SIM card slot, microSD card slot, and the phone's 1,000 mAh battery.
As you can see, this handset has been tweaked but not that much. It bears the traditional Blackberry keyboard and some features that its predecessor doesn't have. What you will get is a budget-friendly smartphone from your beloved BlackBerry maker Research In Motion (RIM), and this is the inside and out of the new BlackBerry Curve 9360.
